STRELNA (Russia) (Sputnik) — The WTO is an international organization set up to liberalize international trade and regulate trade and political relations between its member states. Russia joined the organization in August 2012.
"If earlier we had concerns over an impact of the WTO on the state of affairs in our economy, we now have fears of a different character – a collapse of the WTO, and as a result, an emergence of problems with the regulation of basic processes of the international trade and global economy," Medvedev said during a meeting with Premier of China’s State Council Li Keqiang.
