GENEVA (Sputnik) – The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has received the Syrian Arab Red Crescent's preliminary report on the September 19 humanitarian convoy attack in Aleppo, but the report does not name the perpetrators, Robert Mardini, a senior ICRC official, told Sputnik.
"We didn't [conduct investigation]. We were not present on the spot. So we don't have any firsthand analysis information. The elements that we got today from SARC are not conclusive in terms of the perpetrators," Mardini, the ICRC's regional director for the Middle East, said.
"And even if they were conclusive, we would have raised those issues bilaterally and confidentially with the concerned party," he said.
