MEXICO CITY (Sputnik) – Malcorra said that Clinton would be a "comfortable" president to deal with, if elected.
"All the signs indicate that Hillary Clinton would win, which would be more comfortable to maintain a relationship, but I am still very cautious because the polls are not being able to finely capture the electorate," Malcorra said on Tuesday, as quoted by the Pagina 12 newspaper.
The foreign minister stressed that the 2016 US presidential elections will have an impact on the entire world.
The US presidential elections are being held on Tuesday, November 8. Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and her Republican rival Donald Trump are the main contenders for the post of the new US leader.
