MOSCOW (Sputnik) – US Center for American Progress President Neera Tanden, who is close to the presidential nominee Hillary Clinton's campaign, expressed her opposition to tax cuts for the middle class in an email to Clinton campaign staff, emails released by WikiLeaks on Tuesday showed.
"Just to put cards on the table ahead of the call, I don't think this is the right time for a middle class tax cut. I think liberals will see it as craven 90s centrism driven out of fear and liberals seem to be driving the narrative these days. May be more useful in the general," Tanden said in an email addressed to members of the Clinton campaign.
On Monday, WikiLeaks uploaded the 34th batch of emails from the hacked account of US Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, John Podesta. The leak comes just a day before US presidential elections.
