ABU DHABI (Sputnik) – Egypt has no preference as to which country will be able to replace suspended oil supplies from Saudi Arabian company Saudi Aramco, Egypt's Petroleum Minister Tarek Molla said on Tuesday.
"We have no preferences regarding countries, we are talking about the market as a whole," the minister told reporters, when asked whether negotiations were in progress with specific oil-exporting countries.
He noted that the signing of a contract would depend on the most favorable prices.
On Monday, the Egyptian Petroleum Ministry confirmed the indefinite suspension of oil deliveries to the country from Saudi Arabia.
