At least one of more than 300 election observers in the United States from the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) has abandoned any pretense of neutrality by supporting Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, according to tweets on the account @arkouman.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — One tweet features a picture of two identification cards for Panagiotis Arkoumaneas of Greece, one from the OSCE and another from the Washington, DC government.

"This should give a final boost to Hillary’s campaign. Great news," Arkoumaneas wrote a retweet on Sunday, with an attached news article reporting FBI Director James Comey’s decision not to prosecute Clinton over her emails sent as secretary of state.

OSCE spokeswoman Lauren Baranowska told Sputnik in an email that the organization does not release the names of the organization’s election observers, citing privacy concerns.

Baranowska did not immediately respond to a follow up email from Sputnik asking whether Arkoumaneas activities on Twitter were appropriate.

An OSCE spokesman told Sputnik earlier in the day that the organization has 301 short-term observers to pooling stations in 34 US states.
