Wielding a considerable array of spiritual paraphernalia, a group of Peruvian shamans held a ritual at a beach in Lima, seeking to determine who would become the next US president.
"We have participated in these rituals, and have visualized, as shamans and seers, and our rituals confirm that [Hillary Clinton] will be President," shaman Franklin Steiner said, according to the Newshub.
However, while the majority of group favored Clinton some of them believe that it’s Donald Trump who’s destined to become the next president of the United States.
"The Black lagoon, the lagoon of Huancabamba (in Piura state) are telling us that [Mr Trump] will win," shaman Raul Castro declared.
During the ritual, the shamans also beseeched the spirits to strengthen both candidates and to lend their power to the one who will prevail.
It should be noted that along with portraits of the two US presidential candidates the shamans have also used the images of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos; however, exactly what kind of role the latter three portraits have played in the ceremony remains unclear.
