MOSCOW (Sputnik) – South Korea has been carefully watching the vote in order to assess its outcome for the country's economic and diplomatic relations with the United States, the Yonhap news agency reported, citing officials.

Republican nominee Donald Trump is currently leading with the votes still being counted. The Republican candidate has a chance of over 95 percent to win in the presidential election, The New York Times says basing on preliminary results.
