WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — US election night is going to be the greatest moment in the history of US-Russia relations, former foreign policy advisor of GOP hopeful Donald Trump told Sputnik.
"This may be the greatest night in the long history of US-Russia relations," Carter Page said.
Earlier, Page told Sputnik he is confident that Trump will win the election.
Trump is currently leading in three out of six electoral battlegrounds — Florida, Ohio and North Carolina. New Hampshire and Pennsylvania are unclear yet, where the candidates run neck-and-neck.
Page has to suspend his activities as Trump’s advisor over the allegations from Clinton’s team of the Kremlin ties.
