20:00 GMT 10.11.2016 (Updated: 11:23 GMT 06.08.2022) The Pentagon is waiting for the Trump's team to contact the US Department of Defense to settle down issues of transitional period, the department spokesperson Peter Cook said in a briefing on Thursday.
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The US Department of Defense has not been contacted yet by members of the President-elect Donald Trump's team on the issue of transition, Cook stated.
"As of this morning, we have not had any direct contact yet form anyone with Trump campaign or from president-elect staff," Cook told reporters.
