MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The participants of the Annual Meeting of the US-Russia Business Council (USRBC) are expected to debate the changes in the US administration following the presidential election and the prospects of the Russia-US relations at an annual meeting to be held on November 10-12 in San Francisco.
"We plan to discuss U.S.-Russia relations in the context of a new U.S. administration, review the economic landscape of bilateral commercial relations and focus on potential and existing collaboration on innovation across industries and initiatives to enhance Russia’s global competitiveness," the USRBC said on its website.
According to the website, the participants of the USRBC's meeting, themed "Innovation and Russia’s Return to Growth," are expected to discuss the role of innovations in Russia’s economic prosperity.
Republican nominee Donald Trump won the US presidency in Tuesday’s election, having gained 290 Electoral College votes, or 19 more than the 270 needed to win.
