MOSCOW (Sputnik) – A Ukrainian Defense Ministry's secret subversive group has been detained in Sevastopol on suspicion of preparing acts of sabotage on military sites in Crimea, Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) said Thursday.
"On November 9, 2016, the Federal Security Service detained in Sevastopol members of a diversionary and terrorist group of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's defense intelligence who planned to commit acts of sabotage on military and critical infrastructure facilities of the Crimean peninsula," the FSB said.
High-explosive materials, weapons and supplies, as well as maps of potential target sites have been seized from the detained suspects, it added.
