MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The Eurasian Economic Union is ready for detailed discussions with the European Union on a common economic space spanning the Eurasian continent, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Vasily Nebenzya said Friday.
"We are ready for a substantive conversation with the EU on this and other issues. We continue to expect Brussels' constructive response to the proposal to establish the EEU's dialogue with the European Union. But to be honest, we do not yet see our partners' willingness in Europe," Nebenzya said.
Speaking at a Eurasian economic integration organized by Russia's Vedomosti newspaper, Nebenzya stressed the considerable economic potential of an integration process from Lisbon, Portugal to Vladivostok in the Russian Far East.
