The anti-Russia sanctions imposed by Washingotn have had a negative impact on both sides, yet some sectors of Russian economy have improved because of them, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

NEW YORK (Sputnik) – Peskov also said that people that work in sectors that benefited from sanctions, could protest in case if those are lifted.

"We have some negative effect from the sanctions. Some sectors of our economy are on the rise because of the sanctions, and people working in these sectors will protest if someone promises to lift them … Either way, the sanctions impacted both sides negatively," Peskov told RIA Novosti.
