MOSCOW (Sputnik) – According to a survey released on Friday by the Gallup pollster, 84 percent of voters overall accept Trump’s legitimacy as the next president.
The majority, 60 percent, of Clinton supporters also believe that the election caused permanent harm to the United States. Almost 40 percent of all voters agree.
Trump secured an unexpected victory in the presidential election on Tuesday with 290 electoral votes against Clinton's 232. His inauguration will be held on January 20, 2017.
