Magnitude 6.2 Quake Strikes Off Japanese Coast
A powerful 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of the Japanese island of Honshu on Saturday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – According to the USGS, the quake struck around 15 miles east-northeast from the city of Ishinomaki.
Local media reports claimed that there was no tsunami risk because of the quake.
