WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Trump won the November 8 presidential election, gaining more than the required minimum of 270 Electoral College votes and stunning many voters, media and analysts who believed Clinton to be a more likely winner.
"Well, he’s a very talented guy, I mean, this is a very talented family. Certainly, I would certainly think about that," Trump said in an interview with the CBS broadcaster, excerpts of which were released on Friday, when asked whether he might call Bill Clinton for advice.
In a marked departure from his campaign rhetoric, Trump spoke highly of Hillary Clinton and her concession call, noting that she was very gracious and calling her "very strong and very smart" as well as "a great competitor."
