MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On Sunday, the Bulgarians failed to elect their president from 21 different candidates in the first round, while Radev backed by the country's Socialist party, gathered over 25 percent of popular support and almost 22 percent of voters polled their votes for Tsacheva from the country's ruling GERB party.

According to the poll revealed by the Alpha Research company, almost half of the Bulgarians are expected to support Radev, while about 40 percent to give vote for the representative of the ruling party.
The voting is expected to start at 8 a.m. local time (06:00 GMT).
