Renewal of Regular Russia-US Military Contacts Impossible Under Obama
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Asked whether the situation in Syria would be discussed, the spokesman said: "It is clear that if talks are held, it cannot be ruled out: this [the Syrian crisis] is one of the most urgent issues."

"No contacts with Obama have been scheduled yet. At the same time, they are both likely to be in Peru on the sidelines of the APEC summit. Certainly, it cannot be ruled out that they will hold talks on the sidelines. It is difficult to say whether it will be a full-format conversation," Peskov said.

Peskov said there are no plans yet for a meeting between Putin and US President-elect Donald Trump.
