MOSCOW (Sputnik) — During his election campaign, Trump repeatedly promised to send migrants out, even if they had nowhere to return to.
"What we are going to do is get the people that are criminal and have criminal records, gang members, drug dealers, we have a lot of these people, probably two million, it could be even three million, we are getting them out of our country or we are going to incarcerate. But we’re getting them out of our country, they’re here illegally," Trump said in an interview with CBS' 60 minutes show.
Donald Trump won the US presidential elections, securing more than 270 electoral votes needed for his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton’s defeat. The inauguration will take place on January 20.
