MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Zamir Kabulov told RIA Novosti that Donald Trump's administration faces the "heavy burden of admitting mistakes and attempting to rethink its approach in Afghanistan" 16 years after the intervention.
"That is why they will have to develop relations with regional states, which have a direct interest in the stabilization of Afghanistan… In other words, the Americans will have to readjust their relations with us," Kabulov said.
"I will say without undue modesty that solving the Afghan problem is impossible without the participation of Russia."
