Russian Oil Export Duty to Decline by $2.3 on Dec.1 to $90.4 Per Tonne

The duty on oil exports from Russia is expected to decline by $2.3 as of December 1 to reach $90.4 per metric tonne, data from the Russian Finance Ministry shows.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russia's Urals oil price averaged $44.98 per barrel, or $328.4 per tonne, from the October 15-November 14 monitoring period, the data published on the ministry's website on Tuesday indicates.

The export duty on high-viscosity oil is expected to decline from $11.2 per tonne to $10.9 per tonne. Duties on light oil products are expected to go down from $37 to $36.1 per tonne, with dark oil products to decrease from $76 to $74.1 per tonne.

Export duty rates for oil from Eastern Siberian, Caspian and the Arctic Prirazlomnoye oilfields was set at zero in February 2015. These zero-rate export duties will stay in place if the average oil price does not exceed $65 per tonne.
