Trump's New Administration
15:29 GMT 15.11.2016 (Updated: 11:23 GMT 06.08.2022) While President-elect Donald Trump is still picking his cabinet, his ex-wife Ivana Trump announced in an interview that she would like to become the US ambassador to the Czech Republic.
Czech politicians were quick to welcome "pani Trumpova's" candidacy, with president Milos Zeman’s spokesman Jiri Ovcacek writing on Twitter: "It would be a great choice!" and Senator Jaroslav Doubrava saying that she would become a "guarantor of the improvement of American-Czech relations."
