MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Ulyukayev has been detained early Tuesday while allegedly receiving $2 million for a positive appraisal that allowed Russian energy company Rosneft to buy the state's shares of Bashneft oil company, the Russian Investigative Committee said.
"We do not see the point in commenting on rumors and speculation," Igor Karachin told RIA Novosti.
Russia's Gazeta.ru cited a source as saying that Nikitin could replace Ulyukaev.
