MOSCOW (Sputnik) US President-elect Donald Trump said the process of selecting members of his cabinet and other positions was "very organized," refuting speculation on disarray in his team.

"Very organized process taking place as I decide on Cabinet and many other positions. I am the only one who knows who the finalists are!" Trump wrote on his Twitter account on Tuesday.

According to US media reports, there is a split in Trump’s team, and two senior members of the national security team have already been forced to leave.

On October 11, it was announced that Vice-President-elect Mike Pence was appointed head of the transition team instead of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, who ran against Trump for the Republican presidential nomination before supporting his one-time rival.

Republican Trump secured a victory in the US presidential election on November 8 with 290 electoral votes against his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton's 232. Trump's inauguration will be held on January 20, 2017.
