WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Ratings firm Fitch raised on Wednesday its long-term view on Kiev, giving the Ukrainian capital a financial-risk rating of "B-“ compared with a previous mark of "CC," with a "stable" outlook, according to a press release.
"Our upgrade of the city's ratings also follows recent upgrade of Ukraine's sovereign ratings to 'B-', allowing us to reassess the city's credit profile at the same level of the sovereign ratings," Fitch said in the release.
