"Near Al Raqqah, three strikes engaged an Daesh tactical unit and destroyed two Daesh-held buildings, a fighting position, and oil production equipment," the release stated on Friday.
Near the city of Ayn Isa, 34 miles north, the coalition carried out 10 strikes, engaging three tactical units and destroying seven fighting positions, two vehicles, a checkpoint, a bunker and a vehicle borne improvised explosive device.
Three additional strikes near Deir Ezzor destroyed oil assets and damaged two supply routes, the release said.
In Iraq, the coalition carried out 12 airstrikes near six cities, including Mosul. The Mosul strikes engaged four Daesh tactical units and destroyed or damaged a number of mortar systems, buildings and a tunnel.
US-led coalition forces are waging two operations to oust the Islamic State from its stronghold in Mosul and its de facto capital in Raqqa.
