WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The survey by the Military Times newspaper and the Institute for Military and Veterans Families found that 27 percent of active-duty personnel believe Trump could have a negative effect on their jobs or mission.

A breakdown of the poll data shows that 39 percent of officers expressed that concern.

However, 51 percent of all personnel surveyed voted for Trump and believe he will strengthen the military while improving the quality of life in the military.
