LIMA (Sputnik) – Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived on Saturday in the Peruvian capital of Lima on a two-day visit to take part in the summit of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC).
Along with participation in the working sessions of the summit the Russian leader will hold a number of bilateral meetings, including with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. Putin also may meet with US President Barack Obama.
The Russian president is also expected to hold meetings with presidents of Vietnam, the Philippines and Peru.
