The city of Beppu located on Japan’s southern island of Kyushu boasts the highest yield of hot spring water and is a popular tourist destination. However its mayor decided to push for further development of the tourism industry in his city.
The presentation video of the “Spamusement Park” project on YouTube had reached 400 thousand views at the time publication.
To film the clip some 150 actors were invited and dressed up in towels and 120 tons of water were transported from the spring.
