Salih Muslim, the co-chairman of the Kurdistan Democratic Union Party (PYD), was accused of a deadly car bombing in Ankara in February.
The Turkish court also issued an arrest warrant for 47 Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) members in relation to the attack that targeted a military bus in the Turkish capital.
On February 17, a car bomb attack occurred in the center of the Turkish capital near the buildings of the parliament and General Staff. As the result of the attack, 28 were killed, 81 injured.
Recently, over a dozen of pro-Kurdish lawmakers have also been arrested in Turkey over alleged PKK ties.
Tensions between Ankara and the Kurds escalated in July 2015 when a ceasefire between Turkey and the PKK group collapsed over a series of terrorist attacks, allegedly committed by PKK members. Ankara considers PYD an affiliate of PKK, which is outlawed in Turkey.
