MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Gordeev said that military personnel of the units have neutralized simulated terrorists and prevented them from taking hostages and capturing military facilities within the framework of the drills.
He added that the troops had worked out cooperation with local authorities, as well as regional branches of the Federal Security Service (FSB) and federal ministries in case of potential emergencies.
According to the official, the drills were held ahead of the New Year's eve.
