WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Sputnik contacted RSF for the organization’s comments on the European Parliament's resolution to counter Russian media outlets adopted earlier in the day.
"Thank you for your request. However, I have to remind you that our board has taken a decision (already a while ago) not to give any more interviews to media of the Rossiya Segodnya group. Thank you for your understanding," Dreyer said.
Earlier in the day, the European Parliament voted in favor of a resolution on countering Russian media outlets, such as the Sputnik news agency and the RT broadcaster. Authors of the document equate counteracting Russia with the resistance to Daesh terrorist group and call on EU member states to boost financing counter-propaganda projects.
