WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The companies have been awarded a shared not-to-exceed $11.4 billion contract for Contract Field Teams, the Pentagon said on Tuesday.
"Contractors will compete for task orders that will provide… high quality augmentation for fielded active weapon system maintenance."
The companies included 4M HR Logistics of Houston; Global Logistics Support Services of Huntsville; Kay and Associates of Buffalo Grove; M1 Support Services of Denton; SKGS-SAIC Services of Polson; and Strategic Technology Institute of Rockville, the Defense Department noted.
Other companies receiving the orders include Strata-G Solutions of Huntsville; M2 Services Corporation of McKinney; Y-Tech Services of Huntsville; Zenetex of Herndon; DRS Technologies of Herndon; and DynCorp International of Fort Worth, it added.
