LONDON (Sputnik) — On Friday night several London neighborhoods, including Soho and West End, plunged into darkness.
"Update #Soho #W1 #Powercut — We can now confirm all power is restored. We're very sorry for the disruption this caused to everyone's evening," the company said on Twitter.

There was no power in residential buildings, shops, bars or restaurants and the Aladdin musical was cancelled in West End because of the power cut.
UK Power Networks sent engineers to the affected area to fix the problem. Some power was first restored by re-routing around the fault, before the issue was fixed completely.
