MOSCOW (Sputnik) — A suicide bomber blew up a car bomb at a filling station near Hillah on November 24 killing over 100 people and leaving dozens wounded, most of them Iranian pilgrims. The Daesh terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attack.
"We are strongly condemning this regular bloody sortie of belligerent religious extremists. Its apparent orientation to further foment the sectarian feud in Iraq and nearby regional countries and undermine efforts to reach national accord in that long-suffering country causes particular concerns," the Russian ministry said.
