MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The company’s exports surpassed the landmark of 600 million cubic meters of gas a day on Friday, setting a new record for the eighth time this fall.
Alexander Medvedev, deputy chairman of Gazprom’s Management Committee, said the company expected to maintain "a high level" of exports to countries other than the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) until the end of this year.
Gazprom’s non-CIS exports saw a 10-percent increase year-on-year in January-October 2016, surging by 13.05 billion cubic meters from last year’s 130.8 billion.
