MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On Sunday, North Korea's authorities reportedly took a decision to dip flags at major sights and state organizations until Wednesday.
"Fidel Castro's death is a huge loss for the people of the two countries", the statement issued over the mourning period said, as cited by Japan's Kyodo News Agency.
The death of the Cuban revolutionary and former president was announced on Friday. Cuba has received condolences from leaders around the world including North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, who sent his message on Sunday.
