KIEV (Sputnik) — The survey carried out by the Sociological Group Rating on November 11-17 among 2,000 Ukrainian citizens also showed that 17 percent believe in efficiency of "Russian interference," while 14 percent believe the government could end the conflict and 11 percent support the actions of social activists.

Another nine percent said they trusted the European Union, the United States, the country's opposition and the parliament to find settlement for the conflict, while six percent supported the country's oligarchs as the potential "saviors".

Ukraine’s southeastern regions have been severely affected by Kiev’s special military operation, launched in April 2014 against pro-independence militia in Donbass. In February 2015, the two sides reached a ceasefire deal after talks brokered by the leaders of Russia, France, Germany and Ukraine — the so-called Normandy Format — in the Belarusian capital of Minsk.
