MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The risk of a conflict leading to a possible use of nuclear weapons cannot be ruled out, head of the ministry's Department of North America, Georgiy Borisenko, said.
"Unfortunately, the possibility of a conflict leading to the escalation to the level of the use of nuclear weapons cannot be ruled out."
"This means that the preparation of new agreements on arms control should be on current agenda," Borisenko said.
