WASHINGTON, November 30 (Sputnik) — US Congressman Lou Barletta told reporters at the Trump Tower in New York City on Tuesday that he discussed with President-elect Donald Trump the possibility of him assuming the position Labor Secretary in the new administration.
"We were talking about Labor as well, secretary of labor," Barletta said on Tuesday. "I'm going to consider it… consider what we talked about."
Barletta noted he also talked with Trump about his infrastructure plan and how to ensure the plan becomes a priority with the new Congress.
Barletta represents Pennsylvania’s 11th congressional district in the US House of Representatives
