MOSCOW (Sputnik) — President of Bolivian Football Federation (FBF) Rolando Lopez has been detained on suspicion of fraud, local media reported.
According to La Razon news portal, Lopez received a full June salary for lecturing at San Simon University (UMSS) in Bolivia. Meanwhile, at that time he was in the United States with the Bolivian National team to participate in the Copa America Centenariano tournament, and therefore could not hold lectures in Bolivia.
Lopez, arrested on Monday, is accused of forging documents, as well as non-economic conduct, the news portal reported.
