Tiaguinho’s wife asked Chapecoense players to hand over a very special present to her husband before they left for the final match of the Copa América. They handed him a box in which he found a card from his wife saying that she was expecting.
One of the team members filmed this event. The clip was made just a few days before the plane crash in Columbia and went viral on the internet after the tragedy.

At first Tiaguinho thought that it was a joke, but then he opened the box at the insistence of his friends and then proceeded to read the card and cried with happiness.
Tiaguinho was 22 years old, while his wife is only 18. This child would have been his first born, but now he will never see the newborn.
The plane with Brazilian Chapecoense professional football players reportedly crashed in Colombia at around 10:15pm local time in Cerro Gordo after disappearing in Colombian airspace.
