MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Last week media revealed that German organization for international cooperation (GIZ) has donated 2.4 million euro (over $2.5 million) to the Clinton Foundation in 2013 – 2016 allegedly to support projects in Malawi. Several days later it turned out that the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety also donated 4.5 million euro to the foundation allegedly to support two environmental projects.
“We will bring up this topic once again and file a request on private funds' financing in general,” Movassat said.
He also expressed his concern that the ministry’s donations were made during the active phase of Clinton’s presidential campaign.
Clinton lost the US presidential election ceding to her Republican opponent Donald Trump.
