MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The company said arbitration against Ukraine was launched in 2008, with the court saying in 2010 that it holds competence in arbitration, then ruling in favor of Tatneft in 2014.
Kiev initiated an appeal with the Paris court that year to cancel both rulings, Tatneft added.
"On November 29, 2016, the Court of Appeal of Paris rejected both of Ukraine's arguments and confirmed the validity and enforceability of both awards," Tatneft said in a statement.
