MOSCOW (Sputnik) — DP World signed the act of a joint venture for acquiring a share in a terminal in Novorossiysk, a deal that has to be approved by the Russian government before the UAE company can begin investing in it, the company's head said.
Sulayem added that DP World was excited for the prospects of developing its business in Russia and considered the new joint venture a very good investment.
DP World is especially interested in Novorossiysk, the Baltic Sea and the Far East, as the three points are crucial for improving logistics in Russia, according to Sulayem.
DP World, founded in 2005, operates 77 marine and inland terminals on six continents and provides supply chain and logistics solutions.
