14:00 GMT 30.11.2016 (Updated: 11:24 GMT 06.08.2022) A terrifying video shot by one of the hotel guests trapped inside the Park Vista Hotel showed the flames of raging wildfires visible just outside the windows.
The wildfires which started on Monday, November 28, burned in and near the Tennessee resort town of Gatlinburg, forcing evacuations from the popular tourist destination and nearby communities.
