ALANYA (Sputnik) — Turkey will continue to cooperate with Russia in the fight against Daesh, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said Thursday.
"We have to work and we carry out general work in the fight against international terrorism, it is one of the most important spheres of our activity. The PKK, Daish and other terrorist organizations pose a threat not only for our region but for the whole world. In this context, we will continue to cooperate," Cavusoglu said after talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
Islamic State is a jihadist group outlawed in Russia.
