Police in Jacksonville, Florida say a robber took hostages inside a bank on Thursday, according to media reports.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — ABC News reported police believe the suspect has multiple hostages in the Community First Union bank.

Hostage negotiators and a special weapons and tactics or "SWAT" team are trying to resolve the situation, media reports indicated.

There is no word yet on whether anyone is injured inside the bank.
