MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On November 30, Charlotte District Attorney Andrew Murray said during a court hearing that the police officer would not be charged as the officer "acted lawfully" in using deadly force against Scott.
"Total of 4 arrests at this time. All charged with obstructing traffic, one also with disorderly conduct," the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said on its Twitter account late Wednesday.

Keith Scott Lamont, a 43-year-old man, was fatally shot by a police officer in September in an encounter that set off a wave of protests in Charlotte, North Carolina. The protesters demanded to see the police footage of the incident.
